Arran Ross is an Edinburgh-based artist, whose work incorporates sculpture, photographry and painting. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1987 and then did postgraduate studies at Duncan of Jordanstane College, graduating in 1988. In 2000, he won an award from the prestigious Pollock Krasner Foundation in NYC. In 1997, he won the J.D Fergusson Award and in 1998 he won the Latimer Award from the RSA. Arran has also undertaken numerous residencies in Ireland, Wales, Holland and Scotland. In 2008 he exhibited "Yard In Space", at Out of The Blue, Drill Hall, then at the City Arts Centre, as part of the International Science Festival.
